AI Blew My Mind explains Claude Cowork scheduled tasks: write a prompt once, pick hourly, daily, weekly, weekdays-only, or manual cadence, and let each run finish for review. Setup uses /schedule inside a Cowork session or the Scheduled sidebar with name, description, prompt, cadence, optional model, and folder choice—local folder if the machine must be awake, or empty/Core project for cloud runs with the laptop closed. The author’s tested set includes morning email briefings, file cleanup, Stripe reporting, invoice organizing against bank statements, Apple Notes tidying, and flight price tracking. After the first run Claude may rewrite the prompt from what it learned so later executions know connectors and paths. Paid Claude Desktop plans are required.
